How is this conference offered?

This conference is offered on-site at specific geographical locations in the United States and as a live broadcast webinar (web conference) making access to this conference more accessible, convenient, and extremely affordable.

Do you accept purchase orders and do you have a W-9 form?

Yes. If we are not a vendor for your school district, please have your purchasing department email us a vendor application to Info@StrongFamilies.us. You can obtain our W-9 form simply by clicking here.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If you need to cancel your registration and would like a complete refund, you must email us at Info@StrongFamilies.us or phone us toll-free at 1(866)544-4075 by the conference RSVP deadline date. Substitutions are always accepted. Those who cancel after the conference RSVP deadline date can schedule to attend the live webinar of this conference without incurring an additional cost. Please note that if you register but do not attend, you are still liable for full payment.

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion for professional development?

A Certification of Completion in PDF format will be emailed to you provided that you attended the entire conference. It is advised that professionals consult with their licensing board to determine if attending this conference qualifies for continuing education requirements.

What do I need to know before attending a webinar?

You would be attending a live broadcast! The webinar experience is very similar to attending an onsite conference. You will be able to view the presenter and the slide presentation while listening from your computer speakers. Additionally, you can easily interact with the presenter during the webinar via the chat room located in the webinar site or by using an external microphone.

We use Google Meet for our web conferencing needs. Google Meet is entirely browser-based. All that is required from you is a computer and high speed Internet with computer speakers. A Google account is not required to access Google Meet when viewing from a computer. However, a Google account is required and the Google Meet app would need to be installed in order to view Meet from a mobile device.

Meet supports the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft® Windows®

  • Chrome OS

  • Ubuntu® and other Debian-based Linux® distributions

  • Meet works with the browsers listed below:

  • Chrome Browser

  • Mozilla® Firefox

  • Microsoft® Edge

  • Apple® Safari

Meet has limited support in Microsoft Internet Explorer® 11, Microsoft Edge provides a better Meet experience. If you want to use Internet Explorer for Google, you need to install a plugin for Meet. Download and install the latest version of the Google Video Support plugin.

Tip: If your browser doesn't support Meet video meetings, you can dial in using the phone number and PIN, if provided by the meeting organizer.
